At AvidBit, we believe that every business deserves the perfect VOIP solution!
This has been our goal since we began over 11 years ago…
History of AvidBit
The story of AvidBit began with our founders, Jeremy and Thomas, back in 2009. As experienced IT professionals, with particular focus on local businesses, they were cued into the challenges that business owners were facing. And they recognized a significant lack in the Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) space…
They decided to do something about it.
They decided to combine both VOIP providers and IT integration into one business. This way, clients wouldn’t have to juggle costly VOIP solutions and costly IT integration services.
Services were simplified, and much more affordable.
Affordable VOIP Solutions
Great service should not cost an arm and a leg. Yet VOIP services can often range from $5000 to $50,000 (excluding maintenance costs), and seldom include installation and configuration.
AvidBit wanted to do something different. They wanted to combine quality service and great price.
In contrast to the exorbitant fees of other providers, AvidBit charges reasonable, per-user fees that often result in savings of $48,600 just in the first year!
What is VOIP?
So what is VOIP? You’re not alone if the term doesn’t ring a bell. But the idea is easy to understand.
VOIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol. It offers communications solutions for businesses. Basically, it’s phone-over-the-internet. But in addition to familiar services like phone and voicemail, it can also include things like:
- Text messaging
- Call data archiving
- Message and call recording
- Call analytics
How does it do all of that? Well, since it runs over the internet, it eliminates the expenses and logistical nightmare of relying on phone lines.
No more running new lines to remote locations. All you need is an internet connection! Businesses with VOIP services and easily keep in touch with employees, partners, and customers.
And as long as they have a stable internet connection, employees can work almost anywhere, seamlessly switching between desk phones, cell phones, or even computers.
VOIP is a critical aspect of smooth and painless remote working experiences.
What Makes a Great VOIP provider?
A good VOIP provider is customer-oriented. That means that rather than focusing on up-sells, expensive implementation fees, or service out-sourcing, they focus on customer service; things like:
- Get you up and going right away with rapid, in-house implementation
- Low costs by combining installation and configuration into the low, per-user, per-month fees
- Utilize all the features of your new phones by providing in-house user training at no extra cost
- Give you peace of mind by providing outstanding service when you need it
Some providers will take your order, send you the phones, and then leave it to you to implement. However, a good provider will work alongside you and help you each step of the way to make sure that you are getting the most out of your systems.
Are You Using VOIP Yet?
VOIP is a great tool to help businesses optimize their communications networks. It helps staff be more productive and makes communication with customers more reliable. It also gives you insights into how communication is taking place in your company.
If you are still using a land-line, think about how VOIP can simplify and streamline your communications. If you already have VOIP, then you’re already one step ahead! But think about the fees you’re paying and the service you’re receiving. Are you happy with it?
