AvidBit AvidBit

Independent · since 2009

Built by people who got tired of the alternative.

An IT shop that spent a decade watching telecom vendors fail their customers — until we couldn't recommend any of them with a straight face. So we built the partner we wished existed.

The story

How AvidBit happened.

The thing we built came from the thing we kept seeing. Three chapters and a pivot.

We started as the company that gets called when nothing else works.

Phones, networks, servers, the whole stack. After a few hundred client engagements, the pattern was hard to miss: the telecom side of the stack was almost always the one in trouble — and almost never in a way the customer could fix themselves.

The same three patterns, again and again.

Customers were one hard-to-reach technician away from a complete outage. They couldn't get into their own systems because their vendor wouldn't share an admin password. The hosted players treated the relationship as a billing line item — the box shipped, the rest was the customer's problem.

We didn't want to recommend any of it. So we stepped into the gap.

Same team, same place, new product.

Since 2009 — except now we make the phone system instead of fighting with someone else's. The team that builds it picks up when you call. The relationships we set out to build outlast the hardware. If we'd hate it as a customer, we don't ship it.

What we won't do

Four things we kept seeing. We won't.

01

A single technician who's hard to reach when something breaks.

Real humans on the support line

The team that builds your service is the team that picks up the phone. You're never one out-sick tech away from an outage.

02

Restricted admin passwords. Proprietary lock-out from your own system.

You own your setup

Admin access on day one. You can change anything we can change. No vendor lock-in, no permission-asking for routine work.

03

"We just ship the phones." Implementation, integration, ongoing changes — your problem.

Managed phones, end to end

From porting your numbers to building call flows to whatever you need next quarter, the behind-the-scenes work is ours, not yours.

04

36-month contracts with auto-renew clauses you need a lawyer to escape.

No contracts

Month-to-month. Cancel anytime. We earn the renewal each month or we don't.
